The Bloomington resident and 22-year real estate professional has earned numerous distinctions, including Graduate REALTORS Institute (GRI), Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) and Accredited Buyers Representative (ABR). Scott is also a lifetime member of the national REALTOR Political Action Committee and the F.C. Tucker Company Presidents Club , F.C. Tucker's highest honor for outstanding sales production. A true testament to her professional dedication, Scott was attending a continuing education seminar when her award was presented. Her 82-year-old mother, Anita Taylor, accepted the award on her behalf. “This is a great honor and I'm absolutely elated,” Scott said. “To be recognized by my peers in the real estate community I call home is the best distinction I could ever receive.” “We're incredibly proud of Gretchen,” said John West, managing broker of F.C. Carmel , Ill. native, Scott earned a Bachelor's degree in secondary education from Oakland City College , and she received her Master's in administrative recreation from Indiana University . A self-described outdoor enthusiast, Scott is an avid gardener and is involved with Perennial Garden Exchange, Sherwood Oaks Christian Church, Bloomington Animal Control Commission and Jill's House. Scott enjoys traveling to visit her two children and nine grandchildren.
