Tucker Mortgage, LLC, part of the F.C. Tucker family of businesses, today pledged to donate $100 for each new mortgage transaction through the end of the year to the American Red Cross of Greater Indianapolis. Funds will be directed to help those affected by Hurricane Katrina. The Indianapolis-based mortgage company hopes to raise upwards of $40,000 by year's end.

Tucker family of businesses has always been a strong community partner, and this is an opportunity for Tucker Mortgage to help those in another community who really need it,” said Ron McGuire, president of Tucker Mortgage. “The Red Cross has done so much good for those affected by disasters, we felt it was only right to support them any way we could.”
Funds will be given to the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund, which enables the Red Cross to provide shelter, food, counseling and other assistance to those in Louisiana and Mississippi.
“This is a prime example of what local companies can do to help our devastated Gulf Coast and the millions of people affected by this natural disaster,” said John Lyter, CEO of the American Red Cross of Greater Indianapolis. “Tucker Mortgage is showing a true dedication to corporate citizenship and humanity.”
