F.C. Tucker/Sirkus-Allen, Lynne Wells Agency Merge
Veteran Decatur County real estate professional to help lead new Tucker office in Greensburg

F.C. Tucker Company/Sirkus-Allen and the Lynne Wells Agency will officially merge on July 1, creating F.C. Tucker Company's first Decatur County office. Veteran real estate professional Lynne Wells, GRI, will join long-time F.C. Tucker affiliate broker/owner Steve Allen as co-brokers of F.C. Tucker/Decatur County.

Wells opened her agency's doors in 1979 and has been paving the way for Decatur County real estate ever since. An Honor REALTOR® for 10 years in a row, Wells also has been honored by the Greensburg Daily News' “Best of Decatur County” as the Best REALTOR ® in both 2001 and 2004. A member of the local Lions Club, Chamber of Commerce and past member of the City Plan Commission, Wells and her agency have sponsored area youth softball baseball and a local hospice golf team.

“I've known Steve Allen for years; we grew up in the real estate business together,” Wells said. “We started talking and just knew the merger would be a good fit for both of us. It's a great opportunity for Steve to branch off into Decatur County, and I get to maintain my work here.”

In addition to his new role as owner of F.C. Tucker/Decatur County, Allen will continue as broker/owner of F.C. Tucker's Shelbyville office. That office is transferring two of its sales associates to Greensburg: Tracy Miller, an 11-year F.C. Tucker veteran, and Mike Perkinson, a two-year sales associate, to serve as co-managers of the new office. The majority of Wells' current associates will continue to work with F.C. Tucker/Decatur County.

“We are pleased to now offer our services in Decatur County,” said H. James Litten, president of F.C. Tucker Company's residential real estate division. “Combining the talents of our Shelbyville office with those at the Lynne Wells Agency, we will bring the residents of Greensburg and the surrounding areas the level of excellent real estate services people have come to expect from the F.C. Tucker Company.”

Wells and Allen both are excited for the doors to open on July 1. “This is genuinely a smart and exciting partnership,” Allen said. “While blending two companies can often be trying, at our core we all are real estate professionals with the same goals, so we expect a smooth, seamless transition.”

“Steve and I are blending our work relationship and longtime friendship to make a dynamic agency in Decatur County,” added Wells.
