F.C. Tucker Company honors top sales associates
Three central Indiana sales associates were honored for their 2008 sales and service accomplishments

INDIANAPOLIS – F.C. Tucker Company recently held its annual awards ceremony, honoring sales associates for the company's 46 offices throughout Indiana and Kentucky. Among the awards presented, three associates were given special recognition for their sales and service accomplishments.

The three awards were presented by Fred C. Tucker III, president of the F.C. Tucker Company. The awards were as follows:

Fred C. Tucker Sr. Award
Kathy Collings, who, this March will be celebrating 29 years with the F.C. Tucker Company, was awarded the Fred C. Tucker Sr. Award for exemplifying the high standards and time-honored traditions initiated by the company's founder, Fred C. Tucker Sr. Her experience with the company includes time as a sales associate and branch manager.

In her current role, Collings works as the director of F.C. Tucker's new associate training program, Tucker University. Under her guidance, this program has become recognized as one of the top new associate training programs in the community.

In presenting the award, Fred C. Tucker III, president of the F.C. Tucker Company, said "During these nearly 29 years, Kathy has exemplified judgment, courage, patience and vision. It seems that she has found her calling in her current position, which focuses on giving new and experienced agents the tools they need to succeed in this ever-changing real estate world."

Associate of the Year
For the 22nd time, Bif Ward won the Associate of the Year award. This award is presented to the sales associate with the highest closed volume. In 2008, Ward's closed volume exceeded $50 million. Ward works out of the Meridian North office and has been with the company for 30 years.

"Bif's compassion and determination are the true keys to her success," said Jim Litten, president of F.C. Tucker Company's residential real estate services division. "We are so fortunate to have such an energetic, knowledgeable sales associate on our team year after year."

Bud Tucker Volunteer of the Year Award
F.C. Tucker Company sales associate Teresa Easterday was awarded the 2008 Bud Tucker Volunteer of the Year Award, the company's highest annual honor for volunteer service in the community.

The award is named in honor of Fred Tucker's father, who was deeply committed to serving the community. In presenting the award, Tucker said, "Teresa has been an inspiration to our entire office with her devotion to others and the groups that help support those in need."

Easterday, a sales associate with the F.C. Tucker Company's Suburban North office, was recognized for her volunteer efforts for Grace Community Church, Hamilton County Food Drive, Shepherd Community Center, Wheeler Mission, Habitat for Humanity and the Good Samaritan Christmas project, among others. Additionally, Easterday has served as F.C. Tucker's office captain for the United Way campaign for the past two years.

Easterday "is an amazing, energetic and kind woman, and those of us who have worked with her are inspired and humbled by how she lives her life," said Tucker.
